1. Who is Hook & Tackle?

Honestly, we are just a bunch of guys that grew up in Miami that love
to spend every waking moment fishing or thinking about fishing.

2. What makes Hook & Tackle stand out?

A few of us fish heads share a passion for building things – in
particular, crafting quality sportswear. Our design and product
development team has over 200 years of combined apparel
industry craftsmanship and fishing experience. Heck – you
can’t do something for over 200 years unless you’re passionate
about your craft. We’re curious and inquisitive with a deep
understanding of design, development and manufacturing.
We scour the planet in search of the highest quality materials
and then design innovative one-of-a-kind products loaded with
features and function just to enhance your fishing experience
and make you more comfortable.

3. How does Hook & Tackle deliver high
quality at such reasonable prices?

We make our own products in our own factory - right here in Miami or we source
our products with factories with whom we have long-lasting relationships.
We help them and they help us. In turn, you benefit by owning
a product that lasts the test of time and at a very fair price.

5. Is it true Hook & Tackle ships SUPER FAST?

YEP! We strive to deliver your order on the same business day its placed,
unless the Mahi Mahi are running and then it may be the next business day.
Arrival at your location depends on the method you select for shipment.
We ship orders Mon. - Fri. 7:30AM EST - 2:30PM EST. If you need it SUPER DUPER fast,
just select one of the expedited delivery options, and
provided that we receive your order by 12:00PM EST, we guarantee
to ship it that business day. If received after 12:00 PM EST, then it’s
still possible that we can ship it that business day – but there
are no guarantees because we may be out chasing redfish tails.

6. Can I insure my shipment to protect against a lost or damaged product?

Positivo Steve-o - Since title to the merchandise and risk of loss passes to you once
we hand-off the goods to a transportation carrier, such as UPS or USPS,
Hook & Tackle is NOT liable for any items lost, stolen or damaged in-transit.
As such, we recommend that you purchase ROUTE insurance when you add a
product to your cart. Upon validation of your claim, ROUTE will replace your lost,
stolen, or damaged product at no additional cost to you. Coverage is secured via Roanoke
Insurance Group Inc. and backed by underwriters at Lloyd’s. To file a claim, go to

7. Can I change an order before shipping?

The bad news - once you have placed your order, you can’t make any “online” changes
to your order. The good news - to change or cancel your order prior to shipment, call
Brett toll-free at 855-875-9626, press 230. If he's on break and you get
voice mail just leave him a message. If you're really ancy, call again, dial 0 and
ask Sol to page Mike. If that does not work and you're really really ancy, call
again press ext. 246 and ask for Jeff - he's the Head Honcho. If that does not work
and you're really really really ancy, call again, dial 0 and ask Sol to PAGE Jeff.

8. Does Hook & Tackle ship internationally?

Yep! Great products know no borders. For orders to locations outside the U.S.,
delivery time is up to 4 weeks for standard air mail delivery and up to 5 business days for UPS-Worldwide Expedited.
Any import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser and will be collected at time of delivery.
You are considered the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
In some regions you should allow additional delivery time due to customs delays - not
our fault, blame it on big government.

9. What is Hook & Tackle’s return policy?

You can return any product that isn’t up to snuff,
so long as you have not worn or damaged it.
You’ve got 30 days to do it.


10. What form of payment does
Hook & Tackle accept?

We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club and JCB International credit cards.
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Sorry - no cashola. Bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies - maybe one day but not today.

11. Will my credit card and address information
be secure from the bad guys?

Our payment software is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant. We are
very serious about ensuring the data security and integrity of your
transaction. Our payment processing partners have invested significant
time and resources to certify our store as PCI compliant. From annual
on-site assessments validating compliance to continuous risk
management, our payment processing partners work really hard to
ensure that our online store offers you a safe, secure and worry-free
buying experience.

If the internet just doesn't do it for you and you prefer,
we can process your order by phone, fax, e-mail
or you can fly to Miami and we can take you fishing - then
you could just hand us your BIG order - or not.

14. What is the Refer a Friend program?

In our opinion, the biggest compliment you can pay us is recommending Hook & Tackle. We created a program to allow you (our Advocate) the opportunity to spread the word about Hook & Tackle to your friends, via e-mail, Facebook and Twitter. We even give you discount coupon codes to share with your friends so they can use it immediately to save money on their first-time purchases at Hook & Tackle. As a reward for your friends’ first-time purchase(s), we send you a discount coupon code each time they make a first-time purchase with us.

15. What are friend offers?

As an Advocate, we assign you a unique Shared Referral Link to send to your friends. Once your friends open the Shared Referral Link, it reveals a discount coupon code. Provided your friends are first-time purchasers at Hook & Tackle, they will be able to use the coupon code (prior to its expiration date) to save money. If the coupon has expired, the landing page will display a message to let them know that the coupon has expired.

16. When will referral rewards be sent to an advocate?

Coupon referral rewards will be sent out to advocates about 6 weeks after your friend used the shared link you sent them which revealed their coupon code and then used that code to make a purchase in the store. A reward e-mail will be sent to you to inform you of the reward. You can then access the coupon code from your Portal Rewards Page. Please be sure to use the coupon code prior to the expiry date.

17. Can advocates combine referral rewards
to save more money on a purchase?

Unfortunately, no. You can only use one discount coupon code per order.

18. Why did my friend's coupon code not work?

There are 2 main reasons that this could occur. 1. Your friend has purchased from Hook & Tackle before. Please note that friends can only benefit from the coupon code savings if they are first-time purchasers at Hook & Tackle. 2. The coupon code has expired. Please check the expiry date.

19. Can a friend use the coupon code more than once?

Provided your friend is a first-time purchaser at Hook & Tackle, he can use the discount coupon code one time. If he tries to use it more than once, it will not work as your friend would no longer qualify as a first-time purchaser.
