Hook & Tackle Captain's Party at Fins Weekend - Huge Success May 17, 2015
Hook & Tackle is proud to be a sponsor and partner of the Miami Dolphins Foundation that benefits South Florida charities.
The 19th Annual Hook & Tackle Captain's Party at the Miami Dolphins Fins Weekend was held at Miami Beach Marina in Miami Beach, FL Friday 5/17/15 in a 12,000 square foot tent that was turned into a Bahamian themed paradise. It was a tremendous success with over 1,500 people in attendance. Coaches, players, celebrities along with anglers enjoyed a night of food, cocktails, music with live and silent auctions.
The winners of the fishing tournament get a once in a lifetime experience, a ride on the Miami Dolphins team airplane charter to an away game, stay at the team hotel, ride the VIP bus and sideline passes.
Fishing was a success with dolphin, wahoo, kingfish, tuna and a lots of sailfish!
Miami Dolphins Cornerback Brent Grimes along with his wife Miko said that putting on the Official Tournament Hook & Tackle fishing shirt was powerful and they could not wait to get out there and reel in in some big ones!
Miami Dolphins QB Legend Dan Marino along with current QB Matt Moore and his wife Tara had a great time at the Hook & Tackle Captain's Party.
The entire front office of the Miami Dolphins organization was present including CEO Tom Garfinkel, Head Coach Joe Philbin, General Manager Dennis Hickey, Dan Marino along with the Fins Weekend Chairmen, Stan Rudman, Jeff Peck and Radio Personality Paul Castronovo.
Proceeds raised from Fins Weekend, will benefit City Year Miami, an education-focused nonprofit organization that partners with public schools to help keep students on track to graduate. Fins Weekend had committed to a $1 million dollar donation over the course of 4 years for this wonderful cause.
